The Rottweiler

I am big, bold, burly & beautiful to see
If you want a soppy lap-dog, it's no use having me.

For wishy-washy people are the sort I can't condone
I would end up having everything that they would ever own!

I need someone who is master and can make me toe the line
If I'm handled with firm kindness then everything is fine

I make a very faithful friend and also a good guard
There are few who'd care to chance their luck when I am in the yard!

For underneath this massive skull, is a massive brain you see
And when they speak of "Rotties" they refer to dogs like me.
